Known as the anti-ageing plant, Hibiscus contains antioxidants called anthocyanins that fight off free-radicals. This helps to prevent skin ageing and decrease inflammation. 
Hibiscus also contains saponins (natural surfactants) that cleanse the skin. As a tea, it is said to aid in weight loss, relieve an upset stomach and even help with fever and bacterial infections.
